Nice room good maintain

The first impression of the hotel was quite bad as the name mentioned in the Room booking apps was different and the actual name of the hotel was different. The actual name of the hotel is Sparrow suites something. The elevator was not working and the reception was on the 2nd floor (strangely). the rooms were unclean. The floor was greasy, and the washroom was okay-okay. There was no Television in the room. But in the morning my impression changed as i Realized that the hotel is undergoing some process of renovation and its been sold recently to a different owner who is a former KKR IPL Team security head (Retired now). My room had breakfast included in it. But they didnt have breakfast buffet in spite of having more that 20 rooms in hotel. But they served some Kadala curry with chapatis and didnt offer tea/coffee. To other guests they served nice looking Appams and chutney etc. This treatment was unfair. But i ignored every flaw of the hotel when i realized that the reception ppl who are managing the hotel are ardent cricket fans as im. They have also kept a set of cricket bat and stumps to play at the reception itself. The staff was courteous and warm that was the only positive past. The hotel looks great from outside not less than a 4 star hotel. They also have some cricket memorabilia on display. Rooms- 1 Food-2 Hospitality by staff-5 Loaction-5
