Having spent a night at Asoka Palace in Madurai, I can confidently recommend it, especially for travelers looking for convenience and a comfortable, clean stay. The location is truly a major plus. Being so close to the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple is incredibly convenient, making it easy to visit the temple without worrying about a long commute. This proximity is a huge advantage for anyone visiting for religious or sightseeing purposes. The room and bathroom were both very clean, which is something I always appreciate and value highly. The staff were also excellent—friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, Asoka Palace is a great choice for a short, one-night stay in Madurai, offering clean and comfortable accommodations with good service, and a fantastic location near the city's most iconic landmark.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and was charged ₹1600 per night (₹3200 in total). The location is excellent—just 500 meters from the Meenakshi Temple and with all major public transport options nearby, which makes it very convenient for travelers. the cleanliness of the room needs improvement. The housekeeping standards could be higher to provide a more comfortable stay. Also, adding amenities like reliable Wi-Fi would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, the hotel is well-located and reasonably priced, but with better cleanliness and a few more facilities, it could be a much better option for visitors.
