I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gaylord Hotel in Ooty for three nights, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The property itself is a charming and beautiful small hotel, offering a cozy and peaceful atmosphere that made my stay very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally polite and always eager to assist, ensuring every need was met with a smile. The food at the in-house restaurant was also a highlight—delicious, flavorful, and freshly prepared. I particularly enjoyed their tea, dosa, and idli, which were authentic and satisfying. In terms of location, it’s unbeatable. The hotel is perfectly situated, offering easy access to Ooty’s main attractions while providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend Gaylord Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxed and memorable stay in Ooty.

We experienced intermittent water availability during our stay, which was particularly challenging as we were traveling with children, especially after 10 AM. We frequently needed to request water service throughout the day, and after 10 PM, it was unavailable. Aside from this, the rooms were comfortable and the hotel's proximity to the bus stand was very convenient. Regarding the on-site dining, the food quality was good, though the selection was limited and the pricing was a bit high.
