All well that ends well... It's a phrase people like to end with... but... I like to begin with it... I booked for a semi double room And ended up getting a room without a view or balcony on a lower floor.. Which was a major setback We booked for 2 nights and got an upgrade to ahighwr floor room with balcony and view and it was a different world altogether Pros- Higher on a mountain with a view from a balcony if you book for a double deluxe room on a higher price and higher floor 5mins away from main leh market This property is clean Hot water available With basic amenities Freshly cooked tasty food with limited options... Friendly staff and owner... Always eager to help Cons - only 16 rooms and limited choice for the higher floor deluxe rooms that sell out fast I wish them all the very best for their future and I will surely try to stay here again on my next visit

We used Mountain Palace Inn as our home base while on a several week motorcycle trip. It was perfect for us and offered everything we needed; hot water, clean rooms, and a comfortable bed. The owner and other employees are all very kind. They were very accommodating as we would drop in every few days in between bike loops. The rooms have a great view of the mountains and Leh Palace. Location is also very convenient. Only a few minutes to downtown market and a few minutes to Leh Palace. Thanks for the great stay! Max and Dan
