I stayed this place for two days along with my mom and aunty. The place is 2.2 km away from kannur railway station which takes only ten minutes by auto but auto charges 70 ruppes. Rooms and accomodation was safe neat and perfect especially for family as well as womens. Host sureshettan his wife and staff are very helping". If you are planning to visit kannur city area this is a perfect place.but if you are planning to visit parassini kadavu muthappan temple by bus and other temples in thaliparambu it will be good to take stay near parassini kadav or thaliparambu both will help you to participate in vellattu ritual that happens in muthappan temple early in the morning 5:30 am to 8:45 am and 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm in parassini kadavu muthappan temple. Last Bus from parassini kadavu to kannur is at 8am. If you have car or own pvt vehicle you must choose urban home stay its a peaceful place. In either case car or bus it will atleast take 40-45 minutes to travel from kannur to parassini kadavu temple. If you are taking stay in taliparambu/parassini it will be easy to go to rajarajesara temple, vaidhyanadha temple and Thrichabaram sreekrishna temple also. Thanks to Urban home stay
We had a great time, very nice place in a calm area close to the beach. Special thanks to Chanchan for the tour to the Theyyam place and all the information shared with us. We learnt a lot. We can absolutely recommend this place!
