(Ask people as APS Homestay, as it is locally famous by this name) I am sharing my deepest and sincere thanks in the form of review to the owner /caretaker of this Home(stay). On the way to the Darjeeling, I booked this as it is outside of main crowded markets and yet not so far from there. It is situated in the ambit of pleasant nature of Darjeeling nearby Ghoom Station, Ghoom Museum and Ghoom Monestry so we can cover up all these even by simple walk. We can reach to experience sunrise on Tiger hills very early in the morning from there as taxis are readily available from there. From Ghoom Station we can catch local shared taxis all the way for Batasiya Loop, Dali Monestry, Happy Valley Tea Garden (a must), Mall Road (at Chaurasta) just for Rs. 35/- per person. On the way back or towards Gangtok and NJP or Siliguri, shared taxis and private cars readily available for much cheaper prices as it is located outside saving time in order to catch up next train or any other means of transportation. I was traveling with my wife and a 2 years old daughter, and I should admit that my family is treated by the owner/caretaker of APS as their own. We were offered very enriched foods, warm and clean beds, hygienic washrooms, fast WiFi connectivity, TV set etc. Every morning 🌄 from the APS Homestay has another serene atmosphere.
