Sunday Resort Marina Wolfsbruch- Familienapartments offers a complete family holiday experience by the water. With spacious accommodation, a year-round indoor pool, extensive wellness facilities, a private marina and a wide range of activities for all ages, the resort combines relaxation, nature and entertainment in a well-connected lakeside setting just one hour from Berlin.

We spent an extended weekend here with our children. To start with the positives: we received an upgrade, booked an apartment, and were given a house, which made us very happy. However, the stairs were unsafe for a 2-year-old and a crawling baby, making it uninhabitable for us. The apartment itself was cozy, but unfortunately, it was not hygienically clean. There were a lot of dust bunnies behind the curtains and under the sofa. We found a bloodstain on the curtain and hair/stains in the shower. The kitchenette also had a lot of crumbs and stains left by previous guests, which made us feel uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel is quite dated and needs renovations in many areas. In the pool, there were loose tiles and small holes. Additionally, half of the pool was not lit (the slide and baby pool), so those areas could not be used after 4 PM. The food was really good on the weekend, as was the service. However, on Monday, for the same price, we only received half of the buffet options (due to fewer guests than on the weekend). They should at least provide pasta or fries for the little ones. It would have been helpful to be informed that the buffet on weekdays differs significantly from the weekend, as we would not have booked for Monday if we had known. The selection for 35.00 euros, plus drink costs, was really not justified. Despite everything, we had a nice time, but we would not recommend the hotel.

Overall, there is nothing to complain about the location as it offers many activities for both children and adults - spa, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, gym, activity room with various options, walking paths, cocktail bar, and live music. The place itself is clean, beautiful, and well-decorated. The rating of 3 out of 5 stars is mainly due to the food. The breakfast is plentiful and satisfying, but the dinner is a complete disaster. As a family, we were here for 4 days and did not use the dinner service on the first day. On the second day, we wanted to eat at the Restaurant Brigg, but we had to make a reservation early in the morning. There were issues with our room number, and as a result, we did not receive a card to dine there. On the third day, we tried to eat at the Pizzeria Salute, but when we entered, we were hit by a cloud of grease. After about 5-10 minutes, someone came out and asked us to go outside, where the seating was, but all the seats were taken due to the live music, so that option was also off the table for us. On the fourth day, we were checking out, so there was no chance for dinner. We can recommend it, but in the future, I would look for dinner options outside the resort.
