Family Stay – 3 Days, 3 Rooms We recently had a wonderful 3-day family stay at Palette Hotel Cecil, and overall it was a very pleasant experience worth sharing. The property itself is beautifully maintained — clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The highlight for us was the jacuzzi and the stunning views, which made for some truly relaxing evenings after a day of sightseeing. The surroundings are serene and peaceful. The hotel is located about 3–4 km from Dal Lake, which is a short and easy drive. Not right on the lake, but certainly not inconvenient for families who have their own transport. What truly stood out was the warmth of the staff. Despite our visit coinciding bakrid, every single team member went above and beyond to fulfil our requests with a smile. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and deserves special appreciation. The only area with room for improvement was the food menu — the options were a bit limited, and a wider variety (especially for families with kids) would make the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a lovely property with great views, excellent hospitality, and a comfortable atmosphere for families. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the region!
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my family in jacuzzi suite.Very good experience although want to share some feedback Positive ones *Food tastes great *Location is near to Shalimar garden and greenery (away from city hustle) *Great Room ambience and property (newly built) *Friendly and cooperative staff,even the owner Ali shangloo is very friendly in nature Negative/Need improvement *Very Limited Breakfast menu (OYO/Checkin cuts breakfast menu to one course) *Same with dinner (only 3 course veg meal buffet) *In house restaurant but will take no order in morning/evening and night as chef would be preparing buffet meal. *Don't expect hot water even after their commitment (only slight warm water will be there).Even for jacuzzi no separate geyser is used and central boiler was turned off due to low hotel occupancy. Overall it's value for money if one compare stays with other hotels /boutique hotels I will be giving 5 star if hot water availability was there.
