(Translated by Google) I only wanted to stay a few days... but I ended up staying a month! The Home Stay is fantastic, a new facility that's constantly evolving and improving. The rooms are clean and smell good, plenty of space, good beds, and ensuite bathrooms. Mr. Param immediately proved to be very welcoming, helping me with everything I needed. Many mornings we drank tea with leaves from his plants that grow around the house. We became friends and stay in touch often. The location of the Home Stay is perfect for visiting Auroville and walking to Serenity Beach; there are all the amenities and excellent restaurants. It's also ideal for visiting the center of Pondicherry, just 10 minutes by local bus, yet still being away from the hustle and bustle. 100% recommended (Original) Volevo stare solo qualche giorno... e alla fine sono stato un mese! L' Home Stay è fantastica, struttura nuova e in continua evoluzione e miglioramento. Le camere sono pulite e profumate, ottimo spazio, buoni letti e bagno in camera. Mr Param si è dimostrato subito molto accogliente, mi ha aiutato in ogni mia esigenza. Molte mattine abbiamo bevuto il thè insieme con le foglie delle sue piante che crescono intorno alla casa. Siamo diventati amici e spesso ci sentiamo. La posizione della home stay è perfetta per andare a visitare Auroville, andare a piedi a Serenity Beach, ci sono tutti i servizi e ottimi ristoranti. Param is the best host you could wish for. He is kind, considerate, and really cares about your stay. That helps make this place feel like a home, not just a hotel. I also really loves the smart yet natural look of the building and the planting around. Param cares about plants and even offered me tulsi and other herbs from his garden to make tea from! The stay is very affordable and so much more soulful than commercial hotels nearby. Located in the back streets of a quiet, authentic and welcoming Pondi neighborhood, locals greeted me warmly. There are also great eateries nearby, such as the millet cafe / health store "Kaani Nilam" where they do fantastic organic Tamil food. I highly recommend staying with lovely uncle Param!
