I recently stayed at KBR Hotel (Collection O Tirumala) near Kapileshwara Theertham in Tirupati from February 1st to 4th, 2025. I had booked three triple-bed rooms for three nights through Agoda about two weeks in advance and got a great deal. Overall Experience: - The hotel and rooms were very clean and well-maintained. - The staff was humble, friendly, and always ready to help. - The rooms were very spacious. The triple-bed room had one king-size bed and one single bed, while the suite had two king-size beds. - Room cleaning service was available. - The air conditioning was in good working condition. - The TV was functional, but it only had regional language (Telugu) and a few free channels. - The flush in the restroom works fine, but it takes time to refill due to its system. - Hot water seemed to be solar-powered, as we did not get hot water during the night. - The lift was available for easy access to all floors. - The hotel is very close (2.5km) to Alipiri, making it convenient for those planning to trek to Tirumala. - Parking is available in an open space opposite the hotel. - Several restaurants are located right across the street, or you can order from Swiggy or Zomato, and they will deliver to your doorstep. - The view from the terrace on the fifth floor is breathtaking and serene. Room Allotment Issue & Resolution: Upon arrival, the hotel couldn’t provide the three triple-bed rooms I had booked. Instead, they offered us one triple-bed room and one suite. We managed to adjust, and the hotel refunded the amount for the unallotted room without any hassle. Important Tips: - Clarify your booking directly with the hotel before arrival to avoid any last-minute surprises. - If possible, pay a small advance to ensure your rooms are blocked. - Don’t get confused by the different names—though it appears as "Collection O Tirumala" on booking sites, the signage outside matches this name, as it is affiliated with OYO. Despite the minor hiccup, it was a comfortable stay, and I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, staff behavior, and location.
