There's that word "flowery" again. I've seen reviews of this sort before, and I bypass them. It's very sporadic in its content. You did just barely make the 200 character minimum (212), but there's nothing about how you tried to resolve the problem. Did you discuss it with management? Did you call the front desk to see if the router was working? You could have mentioned that. Now, I don't know how long it took for you to receive the rejection notice, but you could try contacting TA to find out what specific problem they had with it. If it was a quick response, perhaps something in the automatic filters triggered the rejection. Either way, that's a review that I could have made up without staying there. What was it but, "No wi-fi, they said they had wi-fi"? When I read reviews, I check for consistency. If you repeat a fact someone else mentioned 3 reviews ago, that's not a bad thing. If you say nothing about your room, how do I know what other patrons experienced the same conditions as you? Was your room like the well-kept one mentioned by the family that stopped for the night, or was it like the one that had the room door fall off into the parking lot? Regarding the unlisted motels, TA doesn't "list" anything. You do. And I do. Members request property listings and it's up to them (us) to review them. So, help your fellow travelers and request a listing for all those motels so that they may find them or learn something about them if they stumble across them on Google Maps or something. You can do it right from the review submission page. Finally, I can only speak for myself, but I'm not assuming anyone is "like me." I stayed at two of the three properties I cited in post 42 while on business, not pleasure. It is clearly you that is making assumptions. How do you know I don't stay in roadside motels? Glass House Inn, Erie, PA: one-story, mom-and-pop motel...literally. The same family has owned it since the '60s. No restaurant. No room service. Just a great motel. By the way, I'm glad we're talking about small motels, because I love 'em, and when I find one that stands out, I want to share that with other travelers. I may not be a jet-setter, but I have, in my opinion, relevant travel experience that can help others. That's why I write reviews.

Good service
