Our star at hotel alpine was very good and at a very good rate . But auto drivers at chandigarh railway station trouble us a lot . If you have a a booking at any hotel they ask you for Rs. 200 and say come with us we will get you a good hotel at a lower rate and will charge just Rs. 20 as fare saying this they take you to a dirty hotel they will tell you a lot of lies that the hotel In which you have a booking is not good, it is very far and who knows what else. For the sake of their commission, they will take you to a dirty hotel and if you want to checkout, you will not even get your rs back. So be careful of auto drivers. On the other side , in hotel alpine we got very nice rooms, absolutely neat and clean. It is built in the main market, if you need to buy something from outside. The staff is very helpfull. The only minus point is that the under renovation. Everything else is very good.

Hotel O Alpine is located just about 1 km from Chandigarh Railway Station, which makes it a very convenient option, especially if you have an early departure or onward journey. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and they provide heaters, which is a big plus during colder days. Overall, the room quality and cleanliness were good, and the service staff was cooperative. Whenever we had a request, they tried to arrange things promptly. One small thing I noticed missing was drinking water service—there were no water bottles or glasses provided in the room, which could be improved. That said, if you are looking for a short, comfortable, and affordable stay, especially for transit purposes (like heading to Kalka the next day, as we did), this hotel is a good choice. Overall: Affordable pricing, good rooms, decent service, and a very convenient location. Recommended for short stays and transit travelers.
