Review of Shanel Beach Resort, Goa (Stay: 4 Days | Overall Rating: 3.9/5) Overall Experience: Decent stay with a few drawbacks. Suitable for short visits with moderate expectations. Location: Very good location. Just a 5-minute walk from Baga Beach, which is a big plus. Rooms: Average (“so-so”). Basic facilities, nothing exceptional. Housekeeping: Cleaning is done only between 2 PM to 6 PM. This timing is inconvenient as most guests are out during this period. Drinking Water: Only 1 complimentary water bottle per day, which feels limited. Bathroom: No proper ventilation, which can be uncomfortable. Food Experience: First day lunch: Not satisfactory – roti and sabji were cold, and sabji lacked salt. Breakfast & Dinner: Overall okay and acceptable after that. Tour Package: Hotel arranges Goa tours via shared buses. Pickup and drop are from near the hotel, which is convenient. On the South Goa tour, one spot was not covered, which was disappointing. Management Response about above complaint: Very good and responsive. Upon complaint, they apologized for the inconvenience and offered a scooty to visit the missed spot or explore other places. Staff Behaviour: Staff were polite, friendly, and cooperative throughout the stay. Final Verdict: A well-located budget stay with cooperative staff and good customer handling. However, improvements are needed in housekeeping timing, room quality, and food consistency.

I came here with our family, and we felt right at home. The staff treated ud like family, the food was amazing every day and the location near baga beach was a big plus. Highly recommend to anyone visiting goa
