Hotel Gangotri, Puri – A Home Away from Home I recently stayed at Hotel Gangotri, Puri with my family, and it was truly a beautiful and amazing experience. The entire atmosphere of the hotel radiates warmth and devotion, making it a perfect place for a peaceful and spiritual stay near Lord Jagannath’s abode. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with courteous and kind behavior from all the staff. Be it the security personnel or the management team—everyone was extremely cordial and friendly. The hospitality here is top-notch. The hotel services are excellent. What stood out the most was the quality of food. The cooking staff prepares pure vegetarian meals without onion and garlic, which truly uplifted our mind and soul, enhancing our devotional connection to Lord Jagannath. A special mention to Mr. Durga Prasad Nanda, a very gentle and dedicated staff member who takes food orders with great care and ensures meals are prepared exactly to your taste. His warm hospitality made us feel like we were eating at home. The hotel is budget-friendly and provides great value for money. Though it's a little distance from the sea beach and Jagannath Temple, the peaceful environment and outstanding service more than make up for it.
