Nirvana Amidst Snow – A Hidden Gem in Upper Manali The Nirvana Retreat is nestled at the upper end of Shuru, just beyond DPS Manali, perched on a serene hillside that truly feels like a peaceful escape. Tucked away from the main Manali crowd, it offers tranquility, beautiful surroundings, and easy access to snow-covered open lanes—especially magical during winters. The rooms are spacious, clean, and warmly done up, with wooden interiors that instantly give you that classic Himalayan stay vibe. We stayed here during the snowy season, and the mornings were straight out of a postcard—gentle snowfall, whitewashed trees, and crisp mountain air. What makes this place special is the open street leading up to the retreat, where we walked, played, and enjoyed snowfall without having to step far. The silence of the snow and the joy of having it right outside the room made our stay truly memorable. While it's slightly away from the market, that's exactly what gives this place its charm. If you're looking to enjoy snow, quietude, and a bit of cozy family time, The Nirvana Retreat is a wonderful winter haven.
