a fine choice for solo travelers on a budget. small place up hidden stairs by ice cream shop. room is simple but has tea kettle water and coffee mix plus towel, tp and hot shower and aircon. a small shared balcony outside to sit. Tenom is very quiet but pleasant to walk around at any time. transport is only by shared vans or taxis. take a 1 hour hike up to the lookout tower on other side of the highway
