Labuan Avenue Hotel is a budget-friendly, family-owned property in Labuan, known for its central location and nostalgic charm as one of the island’s older accommodations. It replaced the historic Kim Soon Lee Hotel, which permanently closed in 1987 after operating as Labuan’s first family-owned hotel under the Lim family. The hotel emerged in the late 1980s or early 1990s as a continuation of local hospitality traditions on the island. I believe it’s a 3 story hotel w ground floor having some rooms without windows at a cheaper option. The receptionist very welcome n judging by her accent has a Philippine background which at one time many came to work there. Rooms r nice n clean, However if ur 5’11 thn ur toes will sneak out of the bottom of the bed as the bed are on the small side. The ac is cold but ur duvet is kinda thin. Hot water n pressure was good n clean. The toilet in my room was kinda leaking inside like the floater stopped too early n u can hear water sipping in mo apparent at night when it’s totally quiet. U get 2 free drinking water n free coffee tea out side self service which is a nice addition. Location smack in the middle of town, perfect access to food, market, liquor store etc. overall a great stay

Overall not a bad hotel to stay. Value for money. Highly recommended for solo traveller. Located just next to Laman Victoria. Easy access to restaurants, duty free shop, pharmacy and walking distance around the town area.
