My recent stay at Tun Fatimah Riverside Hotel was a mixed experience. The hotel feels quite worn down, and many of the rooms appear to be poorly maintained. We had to change our room three times due to unsatisfactory conditions, which was disappointing. That said, the service was excellent. The front desk staff were patient, understanding, and very helpful in assisting us with the room changes — and for that, they truly deserve the star rating. The room itself was spacious, which we appreciated, but it lacked basic amenities that would have made the stay more comfortable. But to be honest, there's not much to complaint. At this price, we dont expect 5 star facilities. Good enough if you just need to have some shower and rest. The location is fairly convenient, within walking distance to a number of eateries and even Jonker Street. However, walking there can feel a bit unsafe as parts of the route are along busy roadside stretches. We would recommend taking a Grab instead — it’s affordable and costs only around RM5–6.
