Pros - Helpful owner, budget friendly, clean room, beautiful surroundings. Cons - Steep entrance may scrape the bottom of your car, possible noise from the road. During our short trip to Ayer Keroh, we found INB Resort Ayer Keroh to be a good fit for our budget. It is located right at the entrance towards Ayer Keroh from the PLUS Highway. Right when we arrived, we faced our first hiccup: the entryway towards the resort, which is located at a higher elevation, was quite steep. Furthermore, there was a drain that ran across the entryway, covered by drain covers, and some of the drain covers had bent out of shape, likely due to repeated stress from vehicles driving over them. This caused the bottom of our car to scrape the tarmac on the entryway slope. Drivers with cars that sit low should pay attention when entering the premises. Try to avoid the middle part of the entryway, use the side as much as possible, and go slowly. There were ample parking spots within the premises. When we arrived, we were greeted by a beautiful swimming pool and its well maintained garden. There was also a small trampoline that kids can enjoy playing on. The premises are also home to many friendly cats that love being petted. The owner was very accommodating. We bought some Otak-Otak that required to be kept frozen. The owner graciously accepted our request to keep them in their freezer. The check-in process was also quick and hassle free. The room showed its age in some areas, yet it was well-maintained, clean, and spacious. While toothbrush and toothpaste were not offered, body soap and towels were available. The air conditioner was sufficiently cool. As some others reviewers had said, being located next to the highway entrance and exit, there was noise from traffic early in the morning. However, it was not too much of a bother to us. Overall, our stay here was a pleasant one. It'd be great too if the owner could look into improving the entryway.
