(Translated by Google) My experience in Malaysia is still relatively limited – this is only the fourth hotel in this price range that I've stayed in. In comparison, my room here definitely stands out positively – while the other three rooms seemed rather small (some even cramped), this room is really spacious, clean, and functionally furnished. There was a large window, which provided plenty of natural light and fresh air. So far, I've encountered six hotel fees, charges, and taxes – some of which appear during the booking process, while others are only collected at check-in. A quick comparison isn't possible. If a booking platform shows 54 RM, it could easily be 90 at check-in. This seems to be the standard practice (to varying degrees) across all hotels. This hotel has also found a way to counter the special rate repeat bookings offered by booking platforms: Online repeat bookings are blocked, which means you either have to check out with your luggage by 12 pm and check back in after 2 pm, or pay the late check-out fee of 30 ringgit. As in India, I will gradually learn and adapt to these tricks.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Even though it’s a small hotel located in a small, quiet town, it felt very welcoming and comfortable. I was greeted by two front desk girls who were polite, cheerful, and extremely helpful. They truly made a great first impression, and I sincerely hope the hotel management takes good care of them. The room condition was very satisfying — clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for a budget hotel. One thoughtful touch that deserves special mention is the prayer room (surau) provided, complete with clean prayer mats available at the lobby. This is a great effort by the hotel and something worth setting as an example for others.
