I stayed at The Vintage Hotel for one night. I chose this hotel mainly because it was one of the cheapest options I could find at the time, and it was also relatively close to Sunway Puteri Hills, which was convenient for me. I arrived at the hotel at night, and my first impression was quite good. The lobby was bright and there weren’t many people around, so the overall atmosphere felt quiet and peaceful. The front desk staff were friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. I booked a double room with a window. For a budget hotel, I think the room size was reasonable and didn’t feel too cramped. The room does look a little dated, but it was still reasonably clean and everything was in working condition. The bed was comfortable enough, and I had no problem sleeping. The bathroom was decent as well. The water pressure was normal, there was a water heater, and basic toiletries such as shower gel and shampoo were provided. It wasn’t a particularly new-looking bathroom, but it was clean enough and I didn’t encounter any issues with the facilities. There was a TV in the room, although I didn’t use it. There was no fridge or hairdryer, and there was only one usable power outlet. There were also two small tables, which were enough for placing some basic items. The hotel does provide Wi-Fi, but unfortunately, this was one of the weaker points of my stay. I could connect to the Wi-Fi, but it was practically unusable. The mobile network signal in the hotel wasn’t very strong either. There was a water heater in the room, along with two bottles of mineral water that could be used to make hot drinks. There was no water dispenser outside the room. The location is probably one of the hotel’s biggest advantages. It’s located in a commercial area, so getting in and out was quite convenient. There are grocery shops nearby, as well as a Petron petrol station, McDonald’s and ZUS Coffee. There’s another commercial area around 200 metres away, where you can find a mini market, Chinese and Malay food, Mixue and Lucky Cup. So getting food or basic necessities doesn’t require going very far. Parking is a little more challenging. Most of the parking around the hotel is roadside parking, and there aren’t that many spaces available. They were mostly occupied when I arrived. Luckily, I happened to get one of the parking spaces reserved by the hotel right in front of the entrance, so I was quite fortunate. The hotel is only two storeys tall and there is no lift, so this is something to keep in mind if you have a lot of luggage. There was also a small issue with the air conditioning. Only one side of the air-conditioning vent was blowing air properly. Fortunately, the unit itself wasn’t completely broken and the room could still stay cool, although the airflow was weaker than usual. One thing I actually appreciated was how quiet the room was. Despite the hotel being in a commercial area, I didn’t hear any noticeable noise during the night. There was also no obvious cigarette smell inside or outside the room, which made the stay more comfortable. Overall, The Vintage Hotel is a fairly typical budget hotel. Its biggest advantages are the affordable price, convenient location, reasonable room size and the fact that it covers the basic needs for a short stay. If you’re looking for a newer hotel with stronger Wi-Fi and more modern facilities, you may want to set your expectations accordingly. But if you simply need an affordable and conveniently located place to stay for a night, I think The Vintage Hotel is worth considering.

(Translated by Google) for me, it is more than just a 2-star hotel. more than i expected. strategic location, no problem eating, there are facilities around (tom yam shop, western food, grocery store, mr diy, pump station, etc). the service is also the best. i raised the aircon problem at the counter. they helped me well. the room is also very clean, comfortable, soothing smell, friendly staff. the place is not quiet and not dark. if i have any business in jb again, maybe i will stay here again. (Original) for me, it is more than just 2-star hotel. more than i expected. tempat strategik, tempat makan takde masalah, keliling ada kemudahan (kedai tomyam, makanan barat, kedai runcit, mr diy, pump station, etc). servis pun terbaik. saya ajukan masalah aircond kat counter. diorang tolong bantu dgn baik. bilik pula sangat bersih, selesa, bau menenangkan, pekerja yg ramah. tempatnya tak sunyi dan tak gelap. kalau saya ada urusan lagi di jb, mungkin saya akan menginap di sini lagi.
