OYO’s Global Board Meet in Jaipur Signals its Rajasthan Focus

OYO organised its global board meet in Jaipur to discuss OYO’s strategic initiatives, growth plans, and innovations in the hospitality industry. The decision to convene the meeting in Jaipur signals OYO’s commitment to promoting tourism in the region. Jaipur also represents the perfect blend of tradition and modernity, aligning with OYO’s values of combining innovation with a deep appreciation for cultural diversity.  

The board meeting, held at the Sunday Hotel in Jaipur, was attended by top-level executives, including Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & Group CEO of OYO, as well as prominent board members from various backgrounds and industries such as Akasa Air co-founder Aditya Ghosh, Paralympian Dr. Deepa Malik, former president of the American Accounting Association & Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, W Steve Albrecht, Soft Bank’s Tim Yap and former Starbucks executive Troy Alstead. 

OYO presently has an extensive network of ~1,000 hotels and homestays across Rajasthan, with over 600 properties in the city of Jaipur alone. As tourism in Rajasthan continues to flourish, OYO is planning to expand its presence throughout the state including Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner.
