Located in Goregaon, this place is so named because of a reason. This small region is truly heavenly and you will be mesmerized by the greenery around. It is hard to believe that you are so close to Mumbai. The weather is cool and pleasant and perfect for those long walks with your beloved. There is also a small lake here which is perfect for boating. The entry fee is nominal and the drive up to the park is equally romantic. Located in Navi Mumbai, the Palm Beach Road is a great spot for a date. You will be driving through pleasant and well maintained roads and if you are visiting during or after the monsoons, you will have lush greenery to encounter. The night drives here are particularly perfect. The 10 km stretch of road is lined with palm trees and connects Vashi to Belapur. Because of the quiet nature of the place and because of all the greenery, there are many migratory birds here as well and you can go to the nearby wetlands to watch them. Make a trip to the Mumbai harbor which is close by to watch the sailors in action.
If you want an out of the ordinary date with your partner, complete with some adventure, then this national park is just right for you. Opt for a jungle safari and both of you can gaze on the wildlife of the region. The green cover of the forest is amazing, and you will have plenty of chirping birds for company. Perfect for a midnight long drive, the Bandra Worli Sea Link attracts tourists and locals alike. You can simply grab a taxi and drive on the structure and enjoy the splendid views of the city from here. The structure is truly a magnificent addition to the city’s skyline. You can come here when most of the city is asleep and enjoy some quiet moments together.
Known as the original lover’s point in Mumbai, this is the place where they lover’s come and go in droves and they can get cozy without any worries. The place has a very relaxed and laid back vibe and it seems no one cares about the bustling city around. You can also get a great view of the Sea Link and simply walk around the bandstand and gorge on the local street food together.
The Elephanta Caves are a little way off the city of Mumbai but makes for a great weekend getaway. This island is located a few miles into the Arabian and is a great place to explore together. One can reach it by a motorboat and the ride is very romantic. For adventurous couple, this is the perfect romantic getaway. Watch the sun setting into the ocean after you have explored the caves. They also make a great backdrop for some unique and unconventional pictures.
This splendid 20 acre park is located at the Napean Sea Road near the upscale Malabar Hills and is a great place to get away from the chaos of the city. There are coconut trees here and plenty of space to sit around and relax. Enjoy the sunset from here and enjoy long walks along the paved pathways. The park is also easily reached via railways and bus routes.
If you are a couple who loves to dabble in art or appreciate art, then have a date at the National Council of Performing Arts. This is a great way to find out about each other’s tastes and you can also catch offbeat Indian or foreign films here. The NCPA has plenty of shows and you can afterwards end the evening at the Marine Drive.
