Located in the heart of Mansfield Park under the Glasgow Gaelic Center, this society contains genealogical and historical records of Scottish families. You can trace your ancestry (if you have Scottish roots) or learn about the familial culture of Scotland in this centre.

The Burrell Collection

Located in the middle of Pollok Park, the Burrell Collection is one of the biggest private art collections in the country. It has paintings and artwork by famous European artists like Degas and Cezzane. The Collection also showcases Islamic, Chinese, and East Asian artworks in its many programs and events. This is a great place to go to and immerse yourself within culture and art.

Rutherglen Town Hall

Built-in the Scottish Baronial style in the mid-19th century, the Rutherglen Townhall is an architectural wonder which draws in a lot of tourists. It has beautiful stained glass windows and vaulted ceilings which make this a great place to visit. Not only is it just a place to see, but the hall also hosts various cultural activities, theatre performances, and a myriad of exhibitions.

Oran Mor

Previously, this center of theatre and art was called the Kelvinside Parish Church. This venue is now a stronghold for entertainment and arts, and you can go here to enjoy theatre, comedy nights, and music shows. They also have a huge public art installation by Alisdair Gray, as well as Whisky Bars, Lounges, Restaurants, and more.
