I had another wonderfully relaxing day at the OYO, just like I always do. The front desk staff are consistently fantastic—so friendly and welcoming! This hotel used to be an incredible bargain, but like everything else, the prices have gone up. Still, if you can snag a room for under £50, I would definitely recommend it. I stay here frequently, and the A46 noise doesn’t bother me at all. Plus, there’s a great curry house right next door and a pizza place that delivers, which is a nice bonus!
We decided to take a break here for a few hours of rest since we were both exhausted. It was just what we needed to recharge for the journey home. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed a lovely nap. The value for the price was fantastic. We had booked a twin room but ended up with a double bed, a single bed, a sofa, and a large TV in a spacious room with a nice bathroom. Truly excellent value!
