I chose this hotel primarily for its fantastic location, and I was pleased to find the room spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We were aware that parking could be a bit tricky due to limited spaces, so the excellent service and friendly attitude of the hotel staff were absolutely vital! The receptionist, Karen, was incredibly helpful, providing us with a detailed map highlighting three parking options for when their car park was full on Saturday night. Additionally, the front desk manager swiftly arranged for us to move rooms the following morning after he learned of our concerns regarding the noisy heating fan outside our room that disturbed our sleep on the first night. Their hospitality truly stood out!
The staff were extremely professional and welcoming. The hotel boasts a fantastic wow factor, with a beautiful staircase and stylish reception areas, creating a truly wonderful atmosphere. We visited during graduation season, and the hotel generously provided complimentary soft drinks, beverages, and delicious cakes! The room also had lovely touches. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and ideally located near the centre of Exeter, the railway station, and Northernhay Gardens, which is perfect for dog owners. I highly recommend this place!
