Before my arrival, I let the guest house know that I use a wheelchair, and they informed me that I had booked a room that wasn't accessible. Although I could have managed, they went out of their way to switch me to a different accessible room at no extra cost. My journey was delayed, so I arrived quite late, but that was no issue at all. When I got there, the receptionist kindly helped me carry my luggage up the stairs. They were very polite and accommodating, showing me to my room, which truly exceeded my expectations. It had a desk, a TV, a comfy bed, and a full wet room. I even had a small sea view, which was nice, though I wouldn't have paid extra for it. Each time I entered or exited the property, I needed to carry my wheelchair up the stairs, but I received assistance every time, making it much easier and more comfortable for me. There was a lounge area available where I could have relaxed instead of being cooped up in my room, but I was too busy to take advantage of it!
We had a wonderfully comfortable stay, conveniently located within walking distance of all the activities we wanted to enjoy. This hotel is such a peaceful retreat. The staff were absolutely fantastic. Our room was tidied up every day, and they even provided extra heaters without us having to ask, anticipating the drop in outside temperatures. It was such a thoughtful touch, although we were fortunate that it stayed warm enough for us. We ended up extending our stay because everything was just so relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We give it a perfect 10/10! Such great value for the experience! 😄
