The new owner, who has been there for a few months, mentioned that they are currently renovating the hotel and its function rooms. The reception area was inviting, adorned with tasteful Christmas decorations, and there’s a bar that I didn’t use but thought was a lovely touch! The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and eager to help. The owner personally showed me to my room in the annex adjacent to the main hotel building, which I found to be clean and of a good standard. The crisp white towels and bedding were a nice touch, and the bed was comfortable with extra pillows available. I was also given a contact number for reception in case I needed anything. If they maintain the high level of customer service I experienced and offer competitive prices for breakfast and dinner once everything is fully operational, I would definitely recommend this place as a charming alternative to the usual chain hotels.
