All of the other reviews are true. There is no quality to rate here, this is certainly not he Ritz Carlton, but neither is the price. I think the value for money is excellent, the location is fab (right on the beach near the pier, right next to a nice pub, Tesco Express and the car parking on road is free of charge overnight). I'm used to higher end hotels, but life made us travelling on a very low budget this time. We stayed here for price of a camping site, but it was clean, dry, had our own hot shower (note, it took ages to get hot water though about 15 minutes total trying 3 times) and in a lovely spot in Eastbourne, 10 minutes from the Seven Sisters which was our destination. The room was recently redecorated, but not to very high standard (probably my great aunt would have done a nicer and more quality job). Everyone is complaining about the bed in the reviews - true, the coils were in my ribs, it would be good not to just acknowledge it, but actually replace them. And if you are a light sleeper, yes you probably need earplugs. The receptionist young man was also kind and helpful. There is a toaster and microwave to use in the lobby. Kettle in the room with tea/coffee/water is clean - much appreciated. But for the price, £46 for 3 people when otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford the weekend away, I take it as a bargain and I'd probably return.
