This stay at OYO has been a wonderful blessing!!! My husband had a few weeks of being in limbo over at the Chapman Annex, and this has been perfect for that time! He doesn't have to drive far and the Lackland base is literally across the fence! It has been such a safe, comfortable environment. The room/facilities are very basic, simple, and humble but clean and just what we needed!! The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful! The cleaning ladies were so kind and helpful! Also, the maintenance guy was very personable! If you are looking for fancy, this isn't for you, but if you are looking for clean and affordable....this would be perfect! I saw in the comments that someone mentioned not having hot water...we had the same issue, but learned that we could turn on the sink hot water and shower at the same time and the hot water would come out. It just took a few minutes to warm up. This would be perfect for anyone military on a budget! They were very gracious to us as well as being very welcoming of our puppy dog. We were very thankful for the time we were able to stay here!
great for the price got a great deal for 2 nights. Room 258 needed a lil work but was decent and overall clean. Staff was nice and mind their business. Pool was a lot of fun for the kids. Location is nice alot of restaurants in the area and a HEB. Would definitely book again.
