I slept well but I asked for a room at the back and I still wore earplugs. I was on the 4th floor room 403 with elevator, No lunch included. The bed is very comfortable, that's a big plus. The location is great because we are next to the street where all the tourists go out in the evening (that's not why it's a reference...) The Wi-Fi works. There are three sofas at the reception where you can sit. The negative point is that it is on the edge of a very noisy street. So if you have a room facing the street, it's impossible to sleep if you are sensitive to noise. Well, like I said I was in the back so it was okay. But as soon as you leave your room and go to the ground floor, it's non-stop noise so it's not very pleasant. The staff doesn't speak English, I don't care. I have the impression that it was a hotel that must have been quite good, it is 10 years old or more but where the owners have subcontracted the management with employees who do the best they can but it's never the same thing as when the boss is in charge on site.... Will I go back there: no. But for troubleshooting it does the trick. I arrived here after a long plane flight and was so tired that I slept. I think it's more interesting to take guesthouses in the perpendicular (and narrow) streets of the famous main street where all the bars are (walking street). There, I had the impression that the guests were very calm and it had more the charm of leaving your hotel in a quiet little street... J'ai bien dormi mais j'avais bien demandé d'avoir une chambre à l'arrière et j'ai quand même mis des boules quies. J'étais au 4e étage chambre 403 avec ascenseur, Pas de déjeuner compris. La chambre que j'ai eue était très petite parce que la grande chambre était en facade avant et je préfère une petite chambre sans bruit qu'une grande avec du bruit. J'ai très bien dormi. Le lit est très confortable ça c'est un gros plus. L'emplacement est top car on est à côté de la rue où tous les touristes vont sortir le soir (c'est pas pour ça que c'est une référence ...) Le Wi-Fi fonctionne. Il y a trois canapés à la réception ou l'on peut s'asseoir. Le point négatif c'est que c'est au bord d'une rue très bruyante. Donc si vous avez une chambre côté rue, c'est impossible de dormir si vous êtes sensible au bruit. Bon, comme j'ai dit j'étais à l'arrière donc ça allait. Mais dès que vous sortez de votre chambre et que vous allez au rez-de-chaussée, c'est du bruit non-stop donc c'est pas très agréable. Le personnel ne parle pas anglais, ça je m'en fiche. J'ai l'impression que c'était un hôtel qui a dû être pas mal il a 10 ans ou plus mais où les patrons ont sous-traité la gérance avec des employés qui font du mieux qu'ils peuvent mais c'est jamais la même chose que quand c'est le patron qui est aux commandes sur place.... Est-ce que j'y retournerai : non. Mais en dépannage ça fait l'affaire. Je suis arrivé ici après un long vol d'avion et j'étais tellement fatigué que j'ai dormi. Je pense que c'est plus intéressant de prendre des guesthouse dans les rues perpendiculaires (et étroites) de la célèbre rue principale ou sont tous les bars (walking street). Là, j'avais l'impression que les guestaves étaient très calmes et ça avait plus le charme de sortir de son hôtel dans une petite rue tranquille...

The staff here are lovely, very hospitable and will go the extra mile. It's right opposite the Mobylette so there are a fair few travellers in the area. When I arrived the owner gave me a free upgrade and was very helpful. It's not luxury by any means so don't expect loads of comforts like extra toiletries etc. but this was perfect for a short stay in Saigon.
