The heavy hitter of the Texas music scene, Austin City Limits Music Festival (or ACL) literally has something for everyone. With a lineup as diverse as they come, ACL offers the full music festival experience in the heart of Downtown Austin for two weekends in early October. This year’s headliners include Guns N’ Roses, Mumford & Sons, Childish Gambino, The Cure, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, and Robyn, but that barely scratches the surface of talent that will be at Zilker Park this Fall. This West Texas signature features a music lineup as distinct as the festival itself. Trans-Pecos, in infamous Marfa, TX, is a place where you are just as likely to be a playing sandlot baseball game with Instagram influencers as you are sitting in on a glass-blowing workshop with bohemian drifters. Celebrating the 50th reunion of one of the most iconic events in Texas music history, the Texas International Pop Festival returns to Lewisville this Labor Day Weekend with an impressive lineup. Texas’ longest running EDM music festival is basically a household name at this point. Even though they haven’t announced the 2019 lineup as of the time of this post, looking back at past years shows, 2019 is sure to not disappoint.
