The heavy hitter of the Texas music scene, Austin City Limits Music Festival (or ACL) literally has something for everyone. With a lineup as diverse as they come, ACL offers the full music festival experience in the heart of Downtown Austin for two weekends in early October. 14th Annual Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love 2019

This West Texas signature features a music lineup as distinct as the festival itself. Trans-Pecos, in infamous Marfa, TX, is a place where you are just as likely to be a playing sandlot baseball game with Instagram influencers as you are sitting in on a glass-blowing workshop with bohemian drifters. Texas International Pop Festival 50th Reunion

11th Annual UTOPiAfest

One of the most unique music festivals in Texas, this camping and GLAMping friendly fest just outside of Austin at Reveille Peak Ranch is 100% family friendly, BYOB (although beer and wine are sold at the grounds), features all locally-sourced food, wine, and beer vendors, and two main music stages where there is no overlap of artist sets. The aptly named Freaky Deaky Fest over Halloween weekend (or close to Halloween) in Baytown, just outside of Houston, is a place to let your freak flag fly and immerse yourself in some of the heaviest bass and EDM music in Texas. Even though they haven’t announced the 2019 lineup as of the time of this post, looking back at past years shows, 2019 is sure to not disappoint.
