About 10 years, OYO bought up a lot of decaying hotel properties around the country. Their m.o. is not to fix up the external grounds or landscape. Hence, your first impression here will be a little negative, as the parking lot badly needs repaving, and there needs to be some nice flowers or shrubs. Importantly, the rooms are in great condition. Showers, electronics, and bedding are like new, although the bathrooms are a little long in the tooth. The location is right off the Turnpike and also near an alternative highway. There are many fast food restaurants, and a good laundromat, within a mile. The place could use a working ice machine. The only vending available is for sodas.
we just needed a place to sleep for the night and a shower in the morning. it was perfect for our needs and even had a refrigerator. the shower was nicely tiled and the king bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. it was the lowest price in the area and only hotel with a late night vacancy i would gladly stay there again
