I stayed here going to and on my way back from Glacier. It's 1.5 hours from the east entrance so it's a lot better to stay in St Mary if you're going to be in Glacier multiple days (which you probably will be since it's one of our top national parks). The first time I got a good price through ZenHotels. The second time I called Oyo's reservation number and didn't get a good price. However, the motel gave me a bit of a discount when I got there so that was appreciated. The motel is OK, plus Shelby is an interesting small town.
Front desk staff named Raj provided awesome service. Very friendly and helpful. He went put of his way to accommodate requests from my wife. I enjoyed my stay there and will definitely stay in the future for any trip.
