I booked 3 rooms at the oyo this past week here's my experience. I gave them a 5 because they didn't give me bullshit about what I was paying. I love that! But I gave honesty reviews. But I do have some suggestions or complaints. How you wanna look at it. I thought the reservation fee came out of my complete stay out. So it goes like this... $175 was my reservation plus total of my price for all 3 rooms plus $100 deposit room free. Booking your reservation fee + price of days room fee + 100 room Deposit fee= That's your total I did not have a problem with the refund like what was mentioned in some of these reviews. I spoke to my bank and it's being processed. Be aware there's a $500 dollar smoking fee. So smoke outside. I think if I were to show up it probably would have been cheaper but since I'm outsider from far away didn't want to take that risk. Now the rooms: We had sliding windows that were locked so that's a bummer because we couldn't take pictures of our view. There's water resin on window on the outside needs a good pressure wash. House keeping is doing it's job but it's hard to work with what they got. Some Linens need to be thrown out. They were clean but overused. Some had holes and stains. Most IMPORTANT IS THAT THEY WERE CLEAN. Room has updates like a landlord would do. Paint and plywood were use it as trimming. It was everywhere. It would have looked a little nicer if they would have done certain cuts to the wood. Just by simply doing **miter cut** on those corners of the trimming would look a lot better. Some of the headboard pieces apply wood reminded me of the plywood that no one grabs at the store , the leftovers. Lamp shades need to go. Simply changing the lampshade , really boosts up the room. The toilets are the kindergarten kind. There tiny. Hot water takes a good 2 minutes to come in. And every room should have some type of door stoppers. When renting out more then 1 room there should just be one card for every room. I had 3 rooms and I was struggling with those cards I had a family vacation and going room to room was a guessing game of cards. If there's a way you can tap into all rooms with one card that will be amazing. Now the actual hotel presentation.: Staff people were nice. No bellboys here so you do everything which is better for me less money to waste. Main front doors was missing the door handles. The floor entrance needs a good wash or replacement looks filthy. I know you can afford it I drop 400 your slots so get that clean or replace. The floor existing of elevator on the fourth floor needs replacement. The ceiling of the waiting area for the elevators on the 4th floor. Whatever going on there that ain't it. Adding some artificial flowers or something. Parking: It's convenient but you do pay $19 for each day. There's an RQ code you scan and you pay as guests and you move up the dial on the phone and pay for those days. It's a little confusing.I asked reception to help me. Traffic in the morning in the car garage because the people working on the property next door are using it. Location: Hotel Next to the MGM and they have Thid new tram 🚊 that runs throughout the strip so it's convenient picking this hotel. Oyo right in front of it. No more killing feet walks. This tram ISN'T free but others are like the one from mandaly bay to luxor. Post this January 2026. There's Construction next door and it's going to be massive ballpark why there's a lot of movement in the parking lot so be careful with little ones. All in All vacation was smooth in this place. Why I gave it a 5 instead of a lower number. I hope owner reads this make changes here and there for the benefit of his business. You'll be amazed what a pressure washer can do throughout the garage and up the building. That is all folks!

If you are looking for a place you think to yourself. Have I made the right decision? Boy is this the place for you! When you walk into the OYO you immediately think.. O-YO, WHAT HAVE I DONE? This place really makes you want to grab your wallet! I know what you're thinking for a Vegas hotel.. And you'd be wrong. You're grabbing it hoping no one else does first. At check in is where it REALLY begins the thought.. what have I done? When they hit you with their "resort fee".. Using the term resort for this place, is like using the words home-cooked meal for a frozen dinner. Don't portray yourself as something you aren't. Be yourself OYO. Once we got to our room, the key didn't work. Not a big deal, that happens. Went back down to the front desk. Hand on the wallet, (You know.. To be safe) to let the desk know what's going on. Rescanned the keys. Was told it should work now. But they also sent someone up to come check the locks just to be sure. Dude was cool. Quick. Come to find out. Just had to get new cards. A little frustrating. But hey. Life goes on. With that said, the guy at the desk said, that's the best room! Don't switch, just make sure your door works. Cool, thanks man! Best room?! Score! Once the guy opened the door and we walked in.. it smelled like a spring day! .. If you lived next door to a sewage plant in spring. Think of a dead mouse wrapped in dirty socks... But worse. But thinking if this is the best room, what are we in for if we switch? We're gonna stay. Beds were made, clean, with a tv, microwave, refrigerator and coffee. Always nice things to have. So whatever. We certainly didn't come for a view. But yet, looking out the window we have a cool view of the Sphere! Look at us! We are moving now! Ok, time to get comfortable! TV on, getting ready to fall asleep. It's about 12:30. And wouldn't you know it! .. this place.. pet friendly! How absolutely inconvenient. This dog WOULD NOT STOP BARKING. Don't get me wrong. Dogs are great. When they aren't yours and they are quiet. We were up until about 3:30am when the owner finally came back up to get it to stop barking and whining. The next morning is where I learned in this place - DO NOT BE IN A HURRY! The elevators do whatever the hell they want. Going down? Nope. That thing goes to the top floor. Comes down 1 goes back up, while the other one lives between L and 7. The 3rd one is broke. Probably because it's too confused on how to react and is just like "I'ma stay here.. this seems inconvenient enough" Once you finally get on. Expect to go up. Then stop at every floor. Then go up again, before it decides to go to the lobby. In so many words. Plan un-accordingly. All in all after staying the few days. I'm not giving this a 5 star because it earned it for its luxury. But because it is 5 star in just being fine. Clean enough.. staff didn't disappoint. Good if you want to do slots, or gamble. Close enough to enjoy a walk to the strip or Uber. Oh! It also had a Hooters! Did I mention that closed 7 months ago?
