Don’t expect breakfast but rooms are well maintained and clean. There were no bad smells. Shampoo and body wash were provided as well as towels and washcloths. There is an outdoor pool although we did not partake. The listing said breakfast was included. I had to leave early so I missed the Sunday 7-9am time and my family slept in past 9 but were told it was just coffee and some pre-packaged muffins or something small. It’s not a continental breakfast or anything. It probably should just advertise coffee. The staff member that checked us in was very nice and checkin was quick and painless. I’m sure it probably depends on the guests at the time but the parking lot was pretty full and we didn’t have any noise issues within the room. The AC was turned fairly warm (85) when we arrived so we were glad to have checked in early, turned it up, left to finish our day and then returned to a cool room. I appreciate that the weather has been really hot and it makes sense to not be wasting the energy on an empty room, but just as a heads up. It probably wouldn’t have taken long to cool the room either way. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

There was an event in Halletsville that we attended, so the hotels there hiked their prices ridiculously. The cost of our room was surprisingly low. The man that checked us in was very nice. The room was spotless and had a pleasant smell.(unlike many rooms I've stayed in). The bed and bedding was very nice and quite comfortable. We will probably stay here from now on when we go to Fiddlers Frolic. Its only about 20 minutes away and a nicer room. I highly recommend staying here.
