the building-including the rooms and the amenities inside tell you a story of how long this place has been here given how you can spot at least one thing from each decade. functionality of some museum pieces may be an issue or require some effort and ingenuity like turning the knob that was there at some point. so if you are expecting to have everything handed to you because you can't or don't want to figure out how to make things work, this place may not be for you.
First things first, I underestimated this hotel and honestly it wasn’t that bad. I was skeptical at first because of all the comments about how bad the place was. The room was decently clean, it didn’t have any issues regarding the kitchen, bathroom or anything really. Except for the smell but it’s ok because all you needed was an air freshener and you are all good. Maybe the room I got was a good room. The front desk was actually nice I had no problem with them.
