The location is pretty good, but finding parking was complicated, and I don't know if it's convenient by public transport. The service was a bit lacking, and we needed help with check-in. The staff is friendly and tries to be available, but the person in charge was alone, and we were four or five groups arriving at the same time, and three or four of us had problems. It took a long time. I wouldn't really recommend it for families; it smells strongly of marijuana. We stayed at Dutch Hotel for almost a week while exploring New York, and it ended up being a really enjoyable stay. After spending full days out in the city, it was nice to come back to a room that was clean, comfortable, and just the right size to relax. The staff were always kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. One of the best parts was having the subway station just around the corner, making it so easy to get into Manhattan and get around the city. We even managed to squeeze in a few quick workouts at the small gym. Overall, it felt like a comfortable home base for our trip, and we’d happily stay here again on our next visit to New York.
