I was participating in a weekend cycling event in Frankenmuth, and staying in town was just too expensive. I saw recent good reviews on this property, so I booked it. The motel was recently purchased by a young couple and they are working by themselves to renovate the property. It will be a long road for them because the property was abused for so many years. They are off to a good start. The room was clean; the bathroom was clean; there was a new microwave and mini fridge; there was hot water in the shower and good water pressure. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the HVAC unit had the option to run the fan to drown out noise at night. The property is well lit at night and there is plenty of parking. At the end of a long day of cycling, I just wanted a clean and quiet place to rest my head before another long day of cycling ahead. This property provided that for me. The rooms do still have some opportunities for improvement, but for the basics, it was fine.
Sam was fantastic host. He came right away to fix our TV. Then the next day we could not get the cold water to turn on so he fix that after we left for wedding renewal. Sam went out of his way to fix the things we needed to be fixed. I will definitely go there again. The whole staff was the best. They just bought this 1 month ago. I was a great stay for my sister and I.
