We were in town to attend a birthday party for family and I grew up in the area. At first glance, this motel looks a little rough. Built in the 50’s and minority maintained, we decided to manage our expectations and try it. Considering it is 30-300% cheeper than corporate and modern hotels and what we need, it was fine. Housekeeping does not service the rooms each night. No bedbugs. Beds and covers were comfy. Air kept the room cool during the day and warm at night. Rooms are exactly like you would expect for a motel built in this era. Fixtures are original. Tile was pink and the shower is fully tiled with no light inside. Our room had small moths in the bathroom which were a little irritating. The parking lot and front are well lit and paved. I saw at least one security camera in the office and one facing the parking lot. Internet was 100Mbps. This place did what we expected. Quiet and safe.

Heidleberg is a very quiet hotel not far from the expressway in Bridgeport, MI. The rooms will make you feel like you home and they are clean and cozy both. I stayed her for an extended stay with my service dog while we waited for our apartment to be available. The managers still fairly new had only been here for a month when I came and they were honestly nothing short of amazing. They were both professional and friendly. They did everything they could to both accommodate my service dog and make sure my stay was comfortable. I had one interaction with the owner and he has a sense of humor. If you want a quiet peaceful place to stay I highly recommend staying here. It's a great place to relax if you are in the area for work. No one will bother you or a good place to take a break for a night and rest while traveling.
