On the night of April 27, 2026 I drove down from Wisconsin to pick up my wife at O’Hare Airport. Her flight was to land at 9:15pm from Boston. Delays started to get posted. Around 10:15pm her flight was canceled. She found a new flight to land at O’Hare the next morning at 9:15am. So, I am spending the night. Using a Google Search for a place to sleep, I found the Des Plaines Motel on Rand Road. I used Google Maps to easily find my way. The attendant at the motel was very understanding and helpful. I got checked in and had a restful night. Thank you Des Plaines Motel attendant for all of your support and care!!
Although the facilities are very basic and the service is mediocre, it is just about passable for a stay.
