The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. The room was absolutely stunning in the charming old house. For the price I paid (£88), I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and comfortable room that had everything I could possibly need, including tea and coffee making facilities, a fan, an iron and ironing board, a mini fridge, soap and moisturizer, nice towels, quality bedding, and an excellent super king bed (which was actually two singles pushed together). The bed even had a luxurious topper, and as someone who is particular about beds, I had a fantastic night's sleep. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for taking a dog for a walk. We didn't hear a peep from other guests all night, likely thanks to the lovely old building. It’s very well kept, and the room was cozy and warm. We opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't speak to the food.

This hotel is ideally located, offering a vast area to stroll and discover the estate, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. I reserved three rooms, and we were fortunate to have all of them in the Walton Hall building, which exudes a sense of history and charm. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully adorned. The bed was not only comfortable but also impressively large. I particularly appreciated the expansive windows that provided a stunning view of the skyline. The bathroom was generous in size and featured heated flooring. Although we didn't dine at the hotel, the breakfast was outstanding. The leisure center was fantastic; we relished a soothing swim in the heated indoor pool, followed by some time in the sauna and steam room. And a shoutout to the staff (Hi Chris) – everyone we met was incredibly accommodating. This truly was a five-star experience in every aspect.
