This beautifully decorated hotel has been a true pleasure -- after spending nearly a week here, I decided to extend my stay for another week. It’s genuinely serene, incredibly quiet, despite being located on a main road, thanks to the exceptional soundproofing of the rooms. My accommodation is also remarkably spacious, featuring a sitting area with a sofa and chair, along with a generous built-in desk. I absolutely adore the tub/shower (an actual cast iron tub that’s very deep!), and there’s even a towel warmer, plus a nicely sized wardrobe/storage area that includes tea-making facilities and a small cooler. The staff kindly allowed me to check in early, which I truly appreciated, and Ana at the front desk has been especially helpful in making that happen for me initially and on several occasions -- assisting this bewildered American with some British currency queries, as well as guiding me on how to get into London by train. She also promptly addressed a couple of minor issues with my room upon my arrival, all handled swiftly and with a warm smile. Other staff members have also been wonderful, including Magda, who radiates a genuine spirit of "welcome"... which truly makes a difference when traveling (especially since this is my first visit to England). Everything has gone smoothly during my stay overall, which is clearly why I chose to remain here a bit longer. I’ve also relished the lavish breakfast and enjoyed lunch on the deck during a sunny spell... the pizza was delicious, and what a tranquil spot to take in the river views. I’ve strolled to a nearby pub and shops, and I’ve also walked from the train station; there’s quite a bit to explore within a 10-15 minute walk. I also enjoy sitting in the common areas with my laptop -- this charming hotel is both lovely and peaceful, and hats off to their dedicated staff...!

Thank you, very much, to your employee, name is Edina, who helped me, two days ago, on Tuesday 15th July 2025. On that day, Tuesday 15/7/25, and I was walking along the public riverside path, outside the riverside lodge, and unfortunately my foot became stuck in a long plant stem on the ground. Unfortunately, this caused me to fall over and I landed on my right elbow and which caused the elbow to be cut, and thankfully no serious injuries, thank goodness. Thankfully, there was a group of adults walking there at the time, and who were very helpful. Then, I sat down on a chair on your outside patio, and I asked for some basic first aid help. Then your employee, Edina, and she came to help me and she brought out your first aid box. Thank you very much for having the first aid items. Edina put on a bandage around my cut and grazed elbow. And I asked her for paracetamol and she gave me the paracetamol and she brought me a glass of water. Thank you very much to Edina, and all at Riverside Lodge, at Staines in Surrey. :) Yours sincerely, Stephen Drew.
