I do not know the history of this place but I stayed here on a Monday night & a Wednesday night and paid less than $48 each night! It’s a steal!!! The rooms are great for the price. The A/C is very cold. The beds are small but clean & comfortable. There was no mildewy or musky smell common in these small motels. The refrigerators worked well. The nights were quiet with onsite security. The pool was fairly large and very clean & blue—definitely a bonus (both rooms were poolside). The only downside for me was no complimentary coffee in the rooms or office. There was a large ice machine in the office area.
The hotel has excellent management and makes sure guests have as nice a stay as possible. It's not 5 star in terms of luxury but I prefer staying here over many other more expensive hotels.
