The hotel has a unique charm, but it could use some sprucing up. The grass outside was quite tall, giving it a wild look, and the entrance felt a bit neglected. The kitchen area could use a thorough cleaning, but it had the basics. I appreciated the friendly staff at the front desk—they were very welcoming. Despite a few quirks, we enjoyed our stay because we were in town for our son's college concert.
We had an interesting stay at this hotel. The first night, there was a little hiccup with the air conditioning, but we simply opened the window and enjoyed the cool evening breeze. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered us a different room right away, which was much appreciated. They also assured us that the hotel is under new management and they are making many improvements. It’s clear they care about their guests!
