The hotel has new laminate floors, but while they were vacuumed, they clearly haven't been washed. When I spilled some water and wiped it up with a towel, it came away black, indicating that soap and water should be used for cleaning, and the vacuum cleaner should probably be replaced.

Room was clean, water was hot and the a/c cold. Throw in a comfortable bed at a rate of $55/NT and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Staff is very nice, and actually seem glad to see you which is rare for Motel 6.
