We loved the updated room. What can be done is improving the shower curtain as it can leak

Decent motel. Fairly clean. The housekeeping staff were great. The front office staff were friendly and helpful. Big plus is they take pets without charge (maybe $50 deposit). We were evacuating from the Eaton Fire and had 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits. There's a breakfast/brunch place right next door, a Little Caesar's pizza across the street, and a Jack in the box within walking distance. Not the best neighborhood. I was a little nervous walking my dogs around the block, but I didn't have any issues. There's a park about a block away. About 10 min drive to the beach.
