The lights at the side of the bedside were fluorescent and very very bright. If they could be switched to an LED bulb that's warm and softer they could be used for reading. But they were too bright for that.

I like that I feel safe in the room I don't have to worry about others trying to get in with a key card in the middle of the night like the other hotel over the overpass ðŸ˜
