Stayed here a couple of months ago. Clean, comfortable room right off I-81. No, it's not the Ritz, but a perfectly good, safe place to spend the night. Unlike so many motels today, fellow guests appeared to be travelers like myself, as opposed to residential druggies. As an added bonus, greatly enjoyed our meal at Angelle's Diner - a restaurant within easy walking distance, which gives discounts to Motel 6 guests.
The woman at the desk at night when I checked in was very friendly. The next morning, I requested the mattress be exchanged for a new one. The man behind the desk didn’t understand me. The hotel was nowhere near full, and I really think they could’ve exchanged the mattress, which was really uncomfortable. When I said that at checkout, the man behind the desk just laughed.
